On any given day, you may read stories involving workplace violence, domestic violence, abduction, home invasions, road rage, rape, violence, bullying, campus violence, random acts of violence, murder. Many times, the victim knows their attacker, but this is not a deterrent.
Co-workers, past employees, family members going on a rampage, students or parents attacking the schools, neighbors or trusted friends sexually assault young victims, suicides of students from bullying…these are all stories of the day, happening right here in Parker County.
How many of these scenes, scenarios, and incidents could have be prevented or avoided with comprehensive defense training to spot and detect early signs of danger?
East Parker County Chamber of Commerce will host Jeff McKissack as the featured speaker for the monthly member’s luncheon.
Never miss a local story.
McKissack will give you some great advice and tips on “Defense by Design,” he has experience and expertise in crime prevention and personal self-defense. Jeff says personal defense is a personal responsibility.
The Chamber luncheon will be held at New River Fellowship, 3252 E. I-20 Service Road, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on August 9. Baker’s Ribs will serve as the cater. Register for the luncheon at: www.EastParkerChamber.com or call 817-441-7844 for more information.
