Six pianists move on to final round of Cliburn Amateur

It’s an all-male final.

Six pianists advanced to the final round of the Cliburn Amateur competition. The announcement was made late Thursday after 12 competitors played solo recitals in the semifinals.

All finalists will perform one movement of a concerto with the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra and guest conductor Damon Gupton on Saturday at Bass Hall. The finalists are:

Cliburn International Amateur Piano Competition finals
