Trailing 2-1 after three innings, the Frogs regained the lead with two runs in the third inning. They added two in the fourth and two in the sixth to take a 7-2 lead, then added four more in the eighth to pull away.
The Cowboys (24-14, 8-6) chipped away at the deficit by scoring once in the eighth and three in the ninth, but the Frogs had built too big a lead.
