The high school football and volleyball seasons have come to an end and now players, coaches, families, and fans can reflect on the memorable moments and performers as 2016 approaches.
The Star-Telegram and dfwvarsity.com high school sports staff, in consultation with area coaches, announces its 2015 football and volleyball Super Teams.
Leading the way on the football Super Team is Mansfield Lake Ridge quarterback Jett Duffey, the Player of the Year on offense, and Keller defensive end Houston Miller, the Player of the Year on defense.
Mansfield Summit outside hitter Xariah Williams has been selected as the volleyball Player of the Year.

In all, 23 schools are represented on the football first and second teams, while 10 schools placed players on the two volleyball team lists.
For the first time, breakout performers have been added to the Super Teams, one each in football and volleyball.
