Starting 0-2 in District 4-6A is not an option for Arlington Bowie or Arlington Sam Houston on Thursday night.
The Bowie Volunteers took control early as they scored on their first possession - a 16-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Malcolm Mays to Jalen Curvin in the corner of the end zone.
Sam Houston has since tied the game 7-7 after a 4-yard quarterback keeper from senior Jacob Dollar late in the first quarter.
