Prescott, Elliott on roster for Nowitzki’s 2017 celebrity game

Dirk Nowitzki’s 2017 Heroes Celebrity Baseball Game will be Saturday, June 24 at the Dr Pepper Ballpark in Frisco.

The seven-inning game will begin at 6:30 p.m.

A sampling of the players scheduled to appear including Dallas Cowboys quarterbacker Dak Prescott, wide receiver Dez Bryant, and running back Ezekiel Elliott, Dallas Mavericks guards J.J. Barea, Seth Curry and Devin Harris, former Texas Rangers great Michael Young and Ben Grieve, tennis legend Andy Roddick and actor Geoff Stults.

Tickets are $9, $15, $18 and $22 and on sale at TicketReturn (972-334-1993 or ticketreturn.com) or at the Dr Pepper Ballpark box office during office hours. Money raised will benefit the children’s charities of the Dirk Nowitzki Foundation and the Heroes Foundation.

This will be Nowitzki’s sixth year to host the 16th annual event.

Gates to the Dr Pepper Ballpark will open at 4:30 p.m. The first pitch of the Heroes Special Olympics All-Star Softball Game will be thrown at 4:30 p.m.
